"Do you see opossum?" Home-ma asked when I was in the kitchen.
It was about 10:10 p.m., and I just came from working.
"Opossum???"

Home-ma turned off the light in the kitchen.
The kitchen looks out on a garden, and a big animal was eating in the garden.
I did not have the chance to take a picture.

The opossum (負子鼠) I saw was double of the opossum in this picture.

"Opossums are one kind of marsupial (有袋動物), like kangaroos (袋鼠). They put their babies in the pouch (育兒袋) of mothers." Home-ma said.
<Oh~ that's why they are called (
負子鼠).>

"Some animals don't like to eat dead animals. When opossums meet their predators (掠奪者), they would pretend they are dead. Therefore, when someone pretend to be dead or sleeping, we can say he/she is playing possum.", said home-ma.

"Where did it come from?"
"Everywhere in this city."

No wonder sometimes when I passed clump (矮樹叢), I heard something moving.
