這是我到美國第一次吃的餐廳, 第一次吃墨西哥菜

在美國整整四年了

四年, 或許對許多人來說, 不像三年, 五年那樣值得紀念

但卻是我在美國即將趨於穩定的一個階段

上個月的忙碌, 讓我無法即時在滿四年的當天 (8/11) 慶祝

四年又一個月, 適逄 911 十週年, 又是中秋節前夕

我又到了這家讓我愛上墨西哥菜的餐廳

墨西哥餐廳餐前必備的

光吃這個, 正餐來時都飽了

Mango Margarita  $6.5 + tax

Margarita is a cocktail consisting of tequila mixed with orange-flavoured liqueur and lime or lemon juice, often served with salt on the glass rim.

Botana Platter  $ 11.50 + tax

A sampling of Jose's finest; Macho Nachos, a grilled Quesadilla, Taquitos, Chicken Fingers and Potato Skins stuffed with Chunky Chicken and melted cheese, garnished with guacamole, jalapenos and sour cream.

墨西哥菜大多數都是以餅皮捲雞肉或牛肉及 melted cheese

Taquitos 是餅皮捲肉後油炸而成

Taquito or flauta is a Mexican food dish consisting of a small rolled-up tortilla (餅皮) and some type of filling, usually beef or chicken. The filled tortilla is crisp-fried.

Quesadilla 

A quesadilla is a flour or corn tortilla filled with a savory mixture containing cheese and other ingredients, then folded in half to form a half-moon shape.

Potato Skin  這個很好吃

在馬鈴薯皮塞入雞肉及 cheese

Guacamole (Left)   Sour Cream (Right)

這二種是讓我那麼喜歡墨西哥菜的因素之一

Guacamole 主要成份是酪梨

Fresh guacamole made from a blend of avocados (酪梨), tomatoes, onions, petters and some special spices.

大拼盤的底是一整盤的 Macho Nachos

Fresh corn tortilla chips heaped with melted cheese

薯片加上 melted cheese 和大紅豆泥

這個部份實在是太 rich

所以整個大拼盤, 我才吃了三分之一

或許因為沒有當初的新鮮感, 雖然還是很好吃

整個覺得好肥

我想我應該會有一陣子不吃墨西哥菜了
