A magnitude-5.4 earthquake shook the Los Angeles metropolitan area at about 11:42 a.m. on July 29 and more than 30 aftershocks were recorded. Fortunately, the earthquake did not cause any serious damage or injuries.

Although the earthquake was no as large as 921 earthquake in Taiwan, I live very near the epicenter. Therefore, I did feel the strong shake.
