If you are interested in the end of the world or in aliens (外星人), you might like this movie, Knowing.

In 1959, to celegrate a new elementary school's open, a competition was held among the students.

The contest winner was a girl named Lucinda Embry, who suggested burying a time capsule (時空膠囊) containing the students' drawings of the future to be opened 50 years later.
Instead of a drawing, Lucinda writed down a serious of seemingly random numbers.
Lucinda disappeared during the ceremony. Police did a search for her at the school overnight, and the teacher found her in a closet, her fingers scratched bloody.

50 years later, the time capsule is opened and the drawing are given to the current studnet.

A boy names Caleb receives Lucinda's envelpe.

His father Jonathan "Jon" Koestler, professor of astrophysics (天文學) at MIT later notices a single random number sequence which contains the date of the 911 attacks as well as the resulting death toll.

Further examination makes him realize the numbers actually comprise a list containing the dates and death tolls of every major disaster over the past fifty years, with 3 that were yet to come.

A commercial plane crash kills 81 people and confirms the legitimacy (合理) of the list.

Jon also discovers that the list includes the coordinates (座標, 經緯度) of the event.

Jon thinks of contacting Lucinda, but she had committed suicide years earlier.
He then tries to contact Lucinda's daughter, Diana, but she is rebuffed. (回絕)

When the numbers are used to predict another disaster - a subway station incidnet claiming 174 victims, Diana reveals that her mother foretold of the date of Diana's death, which is also within the list.

They investigate Lucinda's old home, where they encounter a mysterious group of four who vanish in a flash of light.

Later Caleb is found writing a series of numbers, suggesting that these too are predictions for future events.
Caleb and Diana's daughter, Abby, hear eerie whispers as Lucinda did.

They believe the final event will kill 33, and Diana notes that Abby sometimes like to write backwards.
Jon find the final event should be solar flare ( 日暈, 太陽燃燒) and would kill "EE" (Everyone Else) on October 19.
He breaks into Lucinda's old school to steal the door she scratched the numbers on while Diana leaves to take refuge in a cave with Caleb and Abby.
When the flare approaches, Jon calls Diana and says the final numbers are the coordinates of her mother's home.
A riot (暴動) break out when the government announces the approach of the solar flare
Diana's car is stolen by the mysterious whisperers with Caleb and Abby still inside.
Diana chases in another car and is struck by a truck while trying to run a red stoplight. She died exactly 12:00 midnight on the date her mother predicted.

Back to Lucinda's home, Jon found the kids and discovered the whispered messages came from angel-like celestial beings.
These "whisper people" invited those who hear them to go with them (only several kids could hear).

The solar flare strikes Earth and incinerates all life on the planet.
The children are dropped off on an Earth-like planet with oddly colored plant life and a closer moon.
